The 8th iGroup China Librarian Conference

Transforming Library Services-Driven by Demand and Technology
Xi’an, Shaanxi, China
November 7-9, 2017

The iGroup China Librarian Conference (IGCLC) is the most important event in library promotion and customer engagement in mainland China.  IGCLC will help our partners gain a better understanding about library development in China, and have a chance to communicate with the librarians directly.

For the 8th IGCLC, more than 200 key academic libraries will be invited and about 150 librarians are estimated to attend. We welcome you to join us in this important event.

The 8th IGCLC will be held on November 7-9, 2017 in Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi Province in China.

As one of the most important ancient capitals in China, Xi'an has more than 3,100 years of history. It is the capital of 13 dynasties, including the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang Dynasties. The city is also renowned for being the eastern terminus of the Silk Road and the Qin Terracotta Warriors. In recent years, Xi’an has become the center of science, technology, trade and finance of Western China.

We’ll arrange a one-day tour to Emperor Qinshihuang’s Mausoleum, one of the first batches of major historical and cultural sites protected at the national level.

We hope you will join us in Xi’an this November. If you would like us to make your hotel reservation, kindly advise me your preferred room and arrival/departure details.

We look forward to hearing from you!
